When will my baby get their first tooth?
๐ฆทYour babyโs first tooth will usually appear between six to eight months with the lower central teeth (incisors). On average, your child should have a full set of baby teeth by the time they reach 2 1/2 years of age.
๐ฆทBaby teeth arrival guideline:
Upper /lower incisors (front teeth) 5-12 months
Upper /lower laterals (front teeth) 8-13 months
First molars 13-19 months
Canines 16-23 months
Second molars 2-3 ยฝ years
๐ฆทIf you child is ahead or behind this schedule, donโt worry. The order of tooth eruption is more important than the timing. I have the first tooth come in at 4 months or as late as 18 months. Some kids are even born with their first tooth!
