Dr. Michele Nielsen is trained and certified in both Cosmetic and therapeutic Botox Therapeutic treatments. Her cosmetic training was in 2008 with The Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics to provide Facial Botox treatment. She certified with MD Cosmetic and Laser Training in May 2018 for administration of Botox for therapeutic applications.
Deputy registrar Alex Penner stated, in a National Post article about a Victoria dentist trained in Botox, that “dentists know the musculature and anatomy of the face better than most physicians because that’s all we do.” And they are certainly more comfortable providing facial injections.
Procedures only take approximately 10-15 minutes. Full results take up to 14 days after treatment.
