Introducing Dr. Krisitna Mistry.

Kristina started working at Steveston Smiles in 2010 as a certified dental assistant (CDA). In 2020 she was accepted into UBC dental school.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Kristina Mistry back to Steveston Smiles as a Dentist! Kristina’s experience as a CDA at Steveston Smiles as well as her love and knowledge of dentistry make her the ideal fit to rejoin our team in her new role as a dentist.

Dr. Kristina will be working Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays at Steveston Smiles.

SOLEA LASER DENTISTRY

Dr. Sajjal Pirzada and Dr. Casi Sutherland join Dr. Michele Nielsen and Dr. Selena Chow in being Solea Certified!

What does that mean for you?

Solea is a CO2 dental laser allowing for procedures in our office to be done with no needles and soft tissue procedures can be done with virtually no bleeding.We can complete dental procedures in different areas in the mouth at the same appointment.

With Solea, you can go right out to lunch or back to work without that numb sensation following your appointment. This is especially important for kids as the most common complication after dental work when they are numb is biting their lip or tongue. Solea is truly changing what it means to go to the dentist.

FUN DAY

On July 12 our team had our annual FUN DAY!

We had a cooking contest at Food by Fanta in Langley. We cooked three dishes in teams of two; salad rolls, green curry and pad thai.

The first place WINNERS were our CDA Joanne and admin team member Leslie. Congratulations!
